My Savior

The world was lost in sin and shame,
But then one night, my Savior came.
He came alone - no one around
To welcome him into the town.

He came to Earth to die for me
And suffered on that cruel tree.
He bore my sin to Calvary
So I could live eternally.

My Savior's coming back for me.
Then, with Him, 'ever, I will be.
He'll take me to His home above
Where I shall dwell within His love.
