Burnie's Bodacious Baked Ham

Ingredients:

Directions:

Place ham in large roaster pan or flat baking pan lined with heavy duty foil.
Cut off all of the fat and skin of the ham.
Place the flat side up and cut four 1" holes to the bone.
Cut V's in the top and save all of the scraps from the holes for seasoning beans, etc.
Fill the holes half full with honey and half full with hot sauce.
Smear honey and hot sauce over the top and sides.
Arrange pineapple and cherries on top.
Press brown sugar over the top and sides.
Sprinkle with more honey and hot sauce.
Seal well with foil or cover with lid if using a covered roaster.
Bake at 340º for 2 hours.
Withdraw all of the juice and baste.
Add more pineapple and brown sugar.
Bake for 3 more hours and repeat preceeding.
Check temperature - increase by 15º if needed.
Bake 3 more hours.
Baste.
Open foil for last 15 minutes to brown.
