German Fries

Ingredients:

6 medium - large potatoes (washed)
1/4 medium onion (thinly sliced)
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
vegetable oil

Directions:

Boil potatoes in skins until fork tender.
Drain.
Skin potatoes and slice thin.
Layer with onion, salt, and pepper.
Heat vegetable oil over medium heat and fry 'till golden brown.
